Lexi Shy is a Multimedia Journalist and Freelance Photographer who focuses on story portrayal through the use of digital media. Her interest in photography and videography stems from her desire to help share the stories of those who otherwise would not be heard.
The Suwanee, GA. native has contributed documentation photography and reporting on refugee resettlement and immigration, videography and photography work for Steer Digital Media and has served as co-producer, videographer and editor for a documentary with the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, RI..
An animal lover and travel enthusiast, Lexi Shy is a member of the Roger Williams University Class of 2017, where she contributed to The Hawks’ Herald student newspaper and ran for the women's cross country team and the women's track team.
